little things: a sunday morning

It's funny how little moments are so big.

It is Sunday. The sun streams through my windows. It is cold outside. The voices in the living room draw me out of bed. There is no beginning and no end, just a pile bodies and blankets. 9 bodies. 9 friends. 17 blankets. The Eagles game is on. They are playing in a snow storm. How can they even see the ball? It is comical to watch. We sit cozy under the mass of blankets eating. Tito's tacos, tostadas (two tortillas), and fresh salsa nurse the remnants of last night. It is cold outside but this moment makes my heart so warm.

I'm a bit forgetful so writing notes and taking pictures helps me remember and reminds me how wonderful life is. If you're looking for a noncommittal daily journal I highly recommend this one. When you can't think of anything to write, it prompts you with a question. I'm curious to see how I will change and grow in 5 years.
